The Institute of Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia has launched the project “Life-cycle of an offshore wind farm in the legal framework: The case of Latvia” (No. LU-BA-ZG-2024/1-0024).
Aim of the project:
To examine the applicable legal framework and legal practice at the international, regional and national levels, identify the main obstacles to the development of offshore wind farm projects and develop initial legal recommendations for their implementation from a life-cycle perspective in order to ensure a more comprehensive legal framework for the offshore wind sector within the Latvian legal order.
